Victoria Memorial

Hyderabad Metro Rail is an ambitious project which is all set to transform public transport system in the city. Once operational, it will be a game changer creating a distinct mark for decades as a Mass Rapid Transit System.

The project envisages three corridors crisscrossing main thoroughfares of Hyderabad, namely Nagole to Shilparamam, LB Nagar to Miyapur and JBS to Falaknuma. The Corridor I, i.e. LB Nagar to Miyapur is for a distance of 29 km with 27 stations. After LB Nagar station, the next metro hub will be Victoria Memorial station, located in between Dilsukhnagar and LB Nagar.

The region has emerged as a residential, commercial and medical hub over last one to two decades and there is a great need for better connectivity and the foray of Metro is all set to add growth impetus for the region. The Victoria Memorial station is at advanced pace of construction with all modern amenities and commuter friendly features.

Once the station is completed and the metro trains ply here, it will indeed mark a new phase of phenomenal growth for this area, with a hope of rapid connectivity that can make commute easier, hassle free and also saves time. The advent of Hyderabad Metro Rail in Victoria Memorial, serving as a key intersection will also boost the property rates and reduce the burden on road traffic with its efficient metro coaches and high frequency services.

Yousufguda

Hyderabad Metro Rail, touted to be a novel solution for public transport woes of the city is truly a game changer that is expected to augur significant benefits for the Nawabi city, which is also an emerging global city.  The project in its first phase envisages three corridors, namely LB Nagar-Miyapur, JBS-Falaknuma and Nagole-Shilparamam.

The Nagole-Shilparamam stretch also called as Corridor III is a strategic corridor which connects Eastern Hyderabad to Cyberabad region through Secunderabad and Central Hyderabad. Yusufguda station lies in between Ameerpet interchange station and Shilparamam, thereby connecting Jubilee Hills locality to Central Hyderabad.

Yousufguda is a bustling commercial centre as well as decades-old residential locality which has started developing after Jubilee Hills and Srinagar colony witnessed real estate development in the last two decades.

But the area has been lagging behind in terms of well developed public transportation system with fewer buses catering to the locality while most people are dependent on private transport and hire autos for travelling to Jubilee Hills or Ameerpet. The advent of Hyderabad Metro Rail is all set to change this. With the Corridor III running through the main intersection of Yusufguda, there are many advantages for this area. For the first time, a modern and mass rapid transit system will usher great connectivity and the metro project will also boost the property rates for both commercial and residential purposes. This will have an overall positive impact on the growth potential and development of Yousufguda.

The location of Yousufguda station on the main thoroughfare is a welcome development which will ensure a bright future for this locality, bereft of an advanced public transport. The metro rail infrastructure is the hope for Yusufguda, scripting a new era of growth for this important region in Hyderabad.
