On July 1st, 2023, LTMRHL unveiled the much-awaited Student Pass Offer, reaffirming its commitment to providing the convenient and
affordable transportation option for students. The Student Pass Offer
was launched by Mr. NVS Reddy, the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, and Mr.
KVB Reddy, the MD & CEO of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited
at Ameerpet Metro Station.
Exclusive Benefits:
With the Student Pass Offer,
students would receive 10 extra trips on the purchase of 20 trips across all
fare zones. This translates into more savings and increased accessibility for
students to explore the city and reach their educational institutions.
Availing the Offer:
The Trip Pass will be valid only for 30 days from the date of purchase of trip pass and only the students born after 1st April 1998 can avail the offer. The offer is available for nine months from 1st July 2023 to 31st March 2024, allowing the students to make the most of their daily travel during the academic year. To avail the Student Pass Offer, students are required to purchase the newly branded smart card. These smart cards can be obtained at these stations only from 11 am to 5 pm:
Red Line: JNTU College, SR Nagar, Ameerpet,
Victoria Memorial, Dilsukhnagar.
Green Line: Narayanaguda.
Blue Line: Nagole, Parade Grounds, Begumpet,
Raidurg.
Students are required to submit essential documents, including a photocopy of a government-issued ID card (such as Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport) for identity verification, a Bonafide certificate signed by the head of their institute, and their school or college ID card to apply for the Student Pass Offer.
