L B Nagar

LB Nagar, once a non descript suburb of Hyderabad has today evolved as a major junction and as part of our efforts to usher a world-class transport solution for Hyderabad metro, we are leaving no stone unturned to make Metro, truly a transforming project.

LB Nagar is the starting point for Corridor I, which stretches till Miyapur for a distance of 29 km with 27 stations. We have conceived this corridor to connect the south east suburbs of Hyderabad city, to Miyapur region that connects Mumbai highway. This corridor of our Metro project therefore connects Mumbai highway to Vijayawada highway at its farthest points.

LB Nagar is the gateway for Vansathalipuram, Emzal, BN Reddy Nagar, Sagar highway, Santosh nagar and other key areas of Hyderabad’s new city as well as old city. It is located close to Ramoji film city and few other tourist attractions. The region of LB Nagar is one of largest residential hubs in Hyderabad from where thousands of commuters travel to many other parts of Hyderabad for jobs and education. There are many engineering colleges which have sprouted close to Vijayawada highway, on either side from LB Nagar till Nalgonda district.

Our Metro rail project therefore makes easy for commuters coming from these regions to easily reach the core region of Hyderabad as well as the IT district and business districts of Hyderabad city as Miyapur is located close to Hitech city and also Gachibowli via Lingampalli.

LB Nagar as an emerging cosmopolitan suburb is all set to undergo a rapid transformation with Hyderabad Metro Rail which would script a new growth story for people living in this part of the city. Metro rail would usher a remarkable connectivity for people who can travel long distances in ultra modern coaches of Metro within a short duration. Once our metro station at LB Nagar becomes operational, it would also feature many user friendly amenities and retail outlets to serve commuters of the Metro rail, wherein even a hassle free shopping experience becomes part of their journey.

Gandhi Bhavan

Hyderabad Metro Rail, a world class infrastructure project is all set to catapult Hyderabad into an elite group of cities in India and the world that boast of a futuristic Metro rail project. We are leaving no stone unturned in this direction so as to ensure Hyderabad city gets nothing but the best as a novel solution for its public transport.

In this regard, we have conceived three corridors for the project, namely LB Nagar - Miyapur, JBS - Falaknuma and Nagole – Shilparamam. Gandhi Bhavan metro station falls on Corridor I, i.e. LB Nagar-Miyapur stretch of Hyderabad Metro Rail and this station has been planned for your comfort and convenience.

Located strategically between Nampally Station and MGBS station, Gandhi Bhavan station offers a lot of advantages for metro commuters. Those who travel from Muslim Gunj and Puranapul areas can access this station by means of an arterial road and at the same time, commuters from Masab Tank and Mehdipatnam areas can access this station through Bazaar Ghat road via Intermediate board.

The proximity of Gandhi Bhavan Metro station to MGBS is an attribute because MGBS metro station is an interchange station connecting Corridor I and Corridor II and also links to the major bus terminus here which witnesses a huge influx of travelers both to and from Hyderabad. Moreover, Nampally station located close by links Metro with MMTS services and also the major railway junction located in Nampally.

Hence, in different ways, the metro station at Gandhi Bhavan is a plus for commuters, which is part of our efforts to make the metro more commuter friendly for the denizens of Hyderabad. Once operational, people from all over Hyderabad can access the annual exhibition fair, Numaaish easily without any traffic hassles and long duration travel.  The metro station at Gandhi Bhavan would also feature modern pedestrian friendly ramps, well-developed platforms, escalators, elevators and a host of public amenities and retail outlets for the convenience of commuters. Therefore, we are sure that the stations of Hyderabad Metro can make a real difference in the life of every Hyderabad citizen, in the future.

Malakpet Metro Station

Hyderabad Metro Rail, is new landmark from our Metro which is all set to revolutionize the way in which public transport benefits the citizens of the Nawabi city and is a dream come true for the denizens of Hyderabad. Our Metro project envisages three corridors for a distance of approximately 72 km, involving 66 stations. We are making all efforts to ensure that all the stations of Hyderabad Metro, are of international standards.

Malakpet metro station, which is part of Corridor I, i.e. Miyapur- LB Nagar, is an important station which is located at the crossroads of three distinct regions of Hyderabad. It is a gateway for the old city of Hyderabad and a junction which leads to Hyderabad’s bustling regions of Dilsukhnagar and LB Nagar, which have grown like never before in the last decade. Our Metro station therefore connects both old and new Hyderabad with the final destination of this corridor, Miyapur which is close to Cyberabad and Business district.

Malakpet station’s location of our Hyderabad Metro, which is close to the MGBS station, an interchange station of Corridor I & II makes it more significant for rapid transport within the Corridor I and also between Corridor I and Corridor II.  Malakpet is an important junction from where commuters head towards Dilsukhnagar direction, old city, the important junctions of Hyderabad such as Nallakunta and Osmania University through Moosarambagh.

Therefore even commuters heading for Falaknuma, JBS, Nampally, Jubilee Hills and Miyapur can head to our modern Malakpet station from where they can also switch towards the next corridor at MGBS station. Once operational, we are confident that Malakpet Metro Station would be a most welcome infrastructure boost for this crucial region, for your benefit and future.

Our Metro station here with elevators, escalators, retail outlets, various facilities for commuters accompanying most modern and safety features will be a value add for Malakpet and we are sure that this would be an important element for growth in the surrounding areas, boosting businesses and property rates.

Nagole Metro Station

Hyderabad Metro Rail, a world-class public transport solution envisioned for the future development of Hyderabad, is indeed a novel infrastructure for the city, poised to take off in future. We have created this modern infrastructure solution for you, the people of Hyderabad, which involves three corridors.

Nagole-Shilparamam, i.e. Corridor III of Hyderabad Metro Rail, has been conceived to offer you the comfort of travelling between two distant points in the city, saving a lot of time in this endeavor. You can witness the quick pace of construction involving Nagole Metro Station which is all set to herald a growth spurt in Uppal-LB Nagar region. We are completing this station which features an advanced platform, high-end power infrastructure, concourse, extensive spaces for retail outlets, escalators, ramps and staircases among a host of other facilities for passengers.  Among the first stations of Hyderabad Metro Rail that has seen maximum construction till date; you can look forward to a future, where traffic hassles would be a thing of the past. As an originating point for Nagole-Shilparamam corridor and given its close proximity to the starting point for LB Nagar-Miyapur corridor, Nagole station is of strategic significance.

The station serves the eastern plank of Hyderabad city linking Warangal highway with Vijayawada highway, located close by near LB Nagar. Once a nondescript suburb of Hyderabad, Nagole has seen a drastic change with the advent of our project, the Hyderabad Metro Rail, which promises to radically alter the manner in which the people of Hyderabad commute every day.

Parade Grounds

The day is not far when your traffic woes are a thing of the past and it is for your benefit, the citizens of Hyderabad that we have envisaged the world-class public transport solution and a mass rapid transit system called the Hyderabad Metro Rail.

Hyderabad Metro Rail, with a total of three corridors, spanning 72 km, with 66 stations is indeed a boon for this rapidly growing city. Parade Grounds Metro Station is a very important junction, located in the Secunderabad region.

The station is of high significance as it is an interchange station, which facilitates passenger movement between different corridors and is one of the three such interchange stations of Hyderabad Metro’s first phase. You are already aware that Jubilee Bus Station to Falaknuma is designated as Corridor II and Nagole-Shilparamam is designated as Corridor III. Parade grounds station is one station, where these both corridors cross each other. Therefore there will be more passenger traffic as well as frequency of Metro trains at this key intersection.

Parade Grounds Metro Station lies between two important hubs, i.e. JBS and Secunderabad railway station of Corridor II, and Secunderabad and Paradise station of Corridor III. This station is also the gateway for road traffic that plies towards Rajiv Rahadari connecting Karimnagar and an important national highway which is the lifeline of North Telangana districts connecting Hyderabad with Nagpur (Maharashtra).

Hence, it is natural that there will be more burden on this station and keeping in tune with the growing passenger traffic, the station is being built to accommodate them, in the long term. We are building this station at a rapid pace, to make the corridor operational in the near future. Parade Grounds Metro Station will serve as an important conduit for commuters in various directions and the station would feature a range of retail outlets for shopping, modern public address system and other facilities such as elevators, escalators etc. The day is not far when you would be travelling through the modern marvel called Metro and witness the transformation in the region near Parade Grounds, which bears a testimony to the efforts of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited in operationalizing this dream project for your future.
