The three corridors of
Hyderabad Metro Rail stretching for nearly 72 km is all set to redefine public
transportation system in Hyderabad city. In this regard, Corridor III that
connects Nagole in East Hyderabad with Shilparamam of North West Hyderabad is a
route of immense significance.
There are 23 stations
in this corridor and Rasoolpura is one such important junction located near
Begumpet area of the city. This region assumes more importance as it one of the
four metro stations between the interchange stations of Ameerpet & Parade
grounds. The region is all set to
witness enhanced commercial activity with the advent of Hyderabad Metro Rail.
The construction of
metro viaducts and other key infrastructure including metro station at
Rasoolpura has picked pace and it marks a new hope of modern connectivity for
this region through a mass rapid transit system. After relocation of
international airport from Begumpet to Shamshabad in during 2008-09, there has
been a slump in development activities and property rates of this area.
However, Hyderabad
metro rail is all set to script a new growth story for the region, due to its
strategic location on Corridor III. Rasoolpura will witness development for
years to come once Metro rail gets operational and commuter traffic grows on
this corridor. It is a boon for rapid development of the region and the
progress being made by the metro rail project will only augment this trend in
the future.
