Hyderabad Metro Rail, the landmark of Modern Hyderabad was conceived to transform the city of Hyderabad, in tune with your aspirations as a global city with a highly effective public transport system. The metro rail project envisages three important corridors for the city and in total there are around 66 stations which would be coming up. Corridor III represents Nagole-Shilparamam section of Metro rail which also has Uppal as one of the important stations.  Uppal station is infact the second stage after Nagole and is located at the cross roads leading to four major junctions of the city from Uppal ‘X’ roads namely LB Nagar, Ghatkesar, Secunderabad and Koti in four different directions.

Uppal Metro station is currently in advanced stages of construction and is already hosting trial runs of the Metro rail, which is rated as quite successful. The advent of Metro has given a perfect face lift for the Uppal region, which is the most busiest junction of East Hyderabad.  Metro has ushered a remarkable transformation for the region, which is witnessing a hike in real estate value. This has also motivated many leading real estate players to start their projects close to Uppal, including new housing and development projects, shopping malls, multiplexes and much more.

Uppal was till recently considered a semi rural suburb of Hyderabad which was not as urbanized as its other counterparts in various other corners of Hyderabad.  But Hyderabad Metro rail has changed this completely and today the region is gaining prominence as an educational, recreational and also as services sector hub with IT parks coming up in Ramanthapur and also at Pocharam on Uppal-Ghatkesar route.

Uppal is now at the forefront of more urbanization with many multinational companies expected to set up shop in retail business segment. Located at a key intersection, Uppal Metro station is all set to serve commuters from different directions of Hyderabad and would also easen up the traffic in this important region.  Our efforts for revigorating Brand Hyderabad through operationalization of Hyderabad Metro Rail envisages transforming Hyderabad as a smart city and as the destination of the future. Uppal Metro Station is a part of our plans to realize this objective.
