Hyderabad Metro rail envisages a large scale transformation
of public transport infrastructure in Hyderabad and in this regard, the first
phase involving 66 stations and three corridors is a highlight of the project.
The corridor III of Hyderabad Metro rail from Nagole to
Shilparamam is a key arterial corridor that connects distant parts of the city
and Mettuguda is an important station of this corridor. Mettuguda was a
nondescript region connecting Hyderabad and Secunderabad which has been a hub
of railway properties and quarters for several decades. However, the region
lacked proper development although it was a major transit hub.
The advent of Hyderabad Metro rail has changed everything,
ushering a facelift for the region. Our Metro project has achieved the
objective of catapulting Mettuguda as a dynamic growth region with great
potential for businesses to thrive. The Metro station which is at advanced
stage of progress and the upcoming Metro rail has boosted our efforts to bring
a modern image to the region.
The metro project has boosted property rates and other allied
development activities in Mettuguda with prominent retail businesses coming up
while the overall image of the area has also received a fillip with Metro rail.
Once the Metro rail is operational, the connectivity of this region will
undergo a major overhaul thereby significantly heralding future growth
prospects for Mettuguda region.
In short, Hyderabad Metro rail has overseen a dynamic
transformation of Mettuguda in the last two years of construction phase, which
has now made this area a key part of the corridor and in the future, the
station here would serve thousands of commuters every day.
Our Metro project’s promise and hope of true transformation
can be witnessed in the radical expansion of the area including a modern
facelift which has totally altered the image of the region. Hyderabad Metro
rail is all set to script a new success story involving great development of
Mettuguda in the years to come.
