Hyderabad Metro Rail is an invaluable asset which is all set
to transform and redefine public transport in the rapidly growing city. The
city is poised to gain more investments, witness more development and be at the forefront of a new
growth phase as the capital of a new state.
We at Hyderabad Metro Rail would leave no stone unturned to
ensure Hyderabad gets nothing but the best
in terms of world-class transport infrastructure. Our Metro would be a value
add that would usher the future growth
prospects of Hyderabad with its three corridors namely Corridors I, II and III. Corridor III stretches from
Nagole to Shilparamam for a distance of more than 25 km. Habsiguda is an important station on this
corridor which connects the region with Ramanthapur,
Uppal, Nacharam, ECIL etc.
Habsiguda is also a main corridor for transport towards
Warangal highway and Vijayawada highway
from the direction of Secunderabad.
Habsiguda is the fifth station from Nagole and is located between Tarnaka and NGRI stations. It
has emerged as a major hub for central government’s
pioneering research institutes like Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology
and nationally renowned Indian Institute
of Chemical Technology (IICT). It is also a hub for education with several
colleges in its vicinity, along with high-end hotels, international cricket stadium and few services sector companies.
Once our metro gets operational here, then it would be quite
convenient for users from various walks
of life to make use of Habsiguda station for transport towards Uppal and also
towards Secunderabad, Begumpet,
Ameerpet, Jubilee hills and Hi-tech city by means of high frequency Metro trains which reduces travel time
considerably. Metro travel is efficient with nil congestion and is seamless by
means of ultra modern metro coaches with high-end amenities for passenger comfort
and modern systems for information and communications.
Habsiguda has grown a lot in the last decade and with our
project, there would also be many retail outlets at stations which can be used
by commuters for laundry, buying gifts, groceries, bill payments, diary items,
recharges etc. In short, our metro rail
is all set to transform Habsiguda in such a way that it wouldn’t be an
exaggeration to describe Habsiguda as ‘Before Metro, After Metro’.
